This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices of PPC Assurance, a service of RJ Research Inc. ("PPC Assurance"). It is intended to inform our customers and visitors to our customers' websites about PPC Assurance's data collection and usage relating to information we process through PPC Assurance Software and PPC Assurance Reports (collectively referred to as "PPC Assurance Products").

If you install or use PPC Assurance Products, you are subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Software License & Terms of Service and Conditions of Use, including, but not limited to the limitations on damages and application of the law of the State of California.

As our business changes, our Privacy Policy will change also, and we reserve the right to change how we handle information we process on behalf of our customers. If you use PPC Assurance Products, you should check our website frequently to see recent changes. If a material change has been made to our Privacy Policy, we may also notify our registered users via e-mail of such material changes.

What do PPC Assurance Products do?

We provide PPC Assurance data analysis services based on information provided to us by our customers regarding interactions visitors have on their websites. We use this data to create trend reports ("PPC Assurance Reports") which analyze web-site traffic patterns. What Information Does PPC Assurance Collect From Its Customers and How Is That Data Used?

PPC Assurance collects contact and related information from our customers and prospective customers who request information or services from PPC Assurance or who register for PPC Assurance Products. To the extent that any personal contact information is collected, we use this contact information for business purposes, such as responding to requests for information about PPC Assurance Products, and for providing other services related to the use of PPC Assurance, for providing access to certain services, and for registering users of the PPC Assurance Products.

By submitting your information to us and by installing and/or using the PPC Assurance Products, you are consenting to our use of your data as described herein and are consenting to the Software License " Terms of Service and Conditions of Use. If you do not consent to either of these agreements, you should not register with PPC Assurance, and you must not install and/or use the PPC Assurance Products.

What Information is Collected Through PPC Assurance Products? From Visitors to Its Customers' Websites, and How Is That Data Used?

Upon confirmation of sign up, PPC Assurance provides a JavaScript script for our customers to embed into their websites. The JavaScript script data initiates a request for a blank javascript object designed to allow the site owner or a third party to monitor who is visiting a site. The blank javascript is used to count the number of times a web page is accessed and gather some general statistical information, such as the IP address of visitor's computer, the URL of the page the tag comes from and the time it was viewed, log files and other traffic data, such as referring search engine name, rank on the page, search query initiated; browser used (collectively referred to as "statistical data"). We do not collect any personally identifiable information from visitors to our customer's websites.

The statistical data collected is processed by PPC Assurance to produce PPC Assurance Reports for you and is aggregated with the data with that collected for all our customers for use in aggregate reports.

PPC Assurance requests that its customers adopt privacy policies that fully inform visitors to the customers websites about the customers' installation and use of the PPC Assurance Products and the collection of statistical data from its visitors. PPC Assurance customers must also represent that this data collection does not violate the any laws or violate any confidentiality or other obligations between customers and its visitors.

Does PPC Assurance Use "Cookies"?

The JavaScript script that our customers embed in their websites may use session and/or persistent cookies and a cookie is used on the PPC Assurance reporting web-site to track the logged in status of the user. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and normally can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. Our customers may use cookies to collect non-personally identifiable information such as aggregate use statistics for internal evaluation of their website. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer.

Is Information Shared With Third Parties?

PPC Assurance does not sell, share, or distribute any private or personal information, with any third parties. We may, however, employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf including registering users, sending postal mail and email, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance and providing customer service. To perform these functions, these companies and individuals may have access to information needed solely to perform their functions, but they are not permitted to use such information for any other purposes.

As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy assets. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the unlikely event that PPC Assurance or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.

We may also release information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; to enforce or apply our Software License & Terms of Use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PPC Assurance, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection purposes.

How Long Will PPC Assurance Keep Personal Information?

PPC Assurance keeps the information collected as part of the PPC Assurance service indefinitely. From time to time, we may purge or delete some or all of the personal information we keep in our database.

How Do PPC Assurance Protect My Information?

Information we collect is stored in password-controlled servers with limited access, and we carefully protect this information from loss or misuse, and from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We back up all data on a daily and weekly basis and store the backup copies in off-site storage.

Do PPC Assurance Collect Children's Personally Identifiable Information?

PPC Assurance is sensitive to the heightened need to protect the privacy of children under the age of 13. The material on our website is not intended for children and is not targeted to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children and, if we learn that we have received personal data from a child, we will remove this information from our database.
